Today is the 33rd anniversary of the signing of the #ada – the Americans with Disabilities Act – a perfect day to shine the light on Newton’s inaccessible MBTA Commuter Rail Stations. Along with Rep. Jake Auchincloss, Senator Cindy Creem, Kay Khan and our entire legislative delegation on Beacon Hill we are making a strong case for funding the upgrades that will bring these stations accessible and create faster, more frequent and reliable service.
Many of us gathered at the Newtonville station to demonstrate just how inaccessible the Newtonville Station is. Thanks to all our allies in this important fight.
