After 58 years, the Gath Pool will be closing at the end of this season to undergo a complete renovation including a new pool and deck, improved accessibility, and fun new elements for people of all ages. This project will make Gath Pool the shining gem of Albemarle Park. The renovation is scheduled for completion in time for a grand reopening for the 2024 swim season!
The public is invited to celebrate the end of an era and have one last swim for old times sake. Join us on Friday August 11th for a Gath Pool Party complete with lawn games, frozen treats and an arts & craft project for the kids (supplies limited to the first 50 participants).
