Did you hear the news? Takeout is going green!

Customers ordering takeout from restaurants in Newton will see some environmentally friendly changes that began on March 1. Restaurants will no longer automatically provide customers with single-use items, such as forks, spoons, knives, straws, chopsticks, stirrers, condiment packages, or napkins. Customers will still have the option to request these items when placing takeout orders or to pick them up at a restaurant self-service station.
