We gather to give thanks to those who served and made the ultimate sacrifice.
We gather to pay tribute to the families of those lost. Yesterday we laid a wreath on bridges that forever memorialize some of Newton’s heroes and as we lay wreaths today, we salute the soldiers who took an oath and were willing to die for this great county.
As we reflect on the sacrifices made for our democracy, let’s move forward and work together to be worthy of their sacrifice. #MemorialDay2024
